I focused on the Method 1, Extrapolating.
I reconsider the physical structure of this book by viewing it as a composite of two layers: an ocean picture, and a white frame.

I imagine that beneath all the seemingly blank parts, there lies an ocean, connecting everything. Then, I covered a white frame over the ocean image to create pages identical to the original book.

Overall, I translated its physicality. The original book and the translated version are different vehicles for the same information.
I call this practice Graphic Moses. Moses parted the Red Sea with his staff. Our graphic designers part the sea with the margin, physically.
