Positions through contextualising 3

If the alphabet represents pure text, then the palette represents pure color. Due to technology, colors in today’s graphic design often run in two modes: RGB and CMYK – technology divides the same color into two.

Discussion of RGB

In the book RGB TO CMYK, the same color is divided into two colour modes. The “same” color makes up these checkerboard grids.

It is made into an eBook to present the subtle differences between RGB and CMYK through electronic screens. Both the file format (EPUB) and the publication on Apple Books emphasize its unshakable eBook attributes.

Discussion of CMYK

The RGB version of this poster is (0, 0, 255) color, while the one currently displayed is the print version, (93, 75, 0, 0) color. Because in printing, CMYK cannot achieve RGB.
